Il fiume mwcaOsento nasce nei pressi di mwcqTornareccio e finisce nell'Adriatico con estuario fra mwcgCasalbordino e mwcwTorino di Sangro.

La sua estensione è completamente in mwdqprovincia di Chieti in mwdgAbruzzo.

La sua mweaportata media è inferiore ai 10mweq m³/s anche se in inverno/primavera, durante le piogge, può incorrere in portate molto superiori ed avere aspetto di torrente impetuoso.

L'ittiofauna è molto scarsa ed interessa rare specie, così come gli mwewanfibi, mwfarane e mwfqsalamandre.

Si noti che mwfwOsento è anche il nome di un mwgaaffluente di sinistra del fiume mwgqOfanto.
